    We aim to change the mindset of the youth in our community with our Straight Talk Group Sessions, Our Scholarship Assistance, The Reconnect Program, and our Build Up Trade Program. And introduce other incentives to grab their attention from those that cause them to make destructive decisions

      Our program will enhance public safety in our communities by  developing  trades that will provide a skill set to excel our youth into work-ready individual, entrepreneurship, and self sufficiency. 

The Straight Talk Program: 

The Straight Talk Program is comprised of group sessions which starts with a thought provoking skit as an ice breaker. Then the youth are asked to speak on the topic independently invoking transcendent dialogue that goes deeper based off their comments. This methodology informs their thinking, through  the experiences and guidance of select facilitators, and guidance of select facilitators, and alters counterproductive behaviors. 

This is a yearly program intended to provide aid to high school seniors and entering college with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher. They must submit a written essay, and score at least 75 points, which will determine qualification for assistance. This will serve to eliminate barriers and facilitate a great start to a new chapter in their educational journey.  

The Reconnect Program is our program that reconnect the child with their parent or parents that may be incarcerated and haven’t been in contact with each other. We find out which facility the parent is in and take the child,with an adult chaperone to visit for a day. We thoroughly support that having the parent in the lives of the child, whether home or away, is very beneficial to the child and the parent. By addressing this issue we are helping the child and the parent to reunite and establish a lasting bond. Which holistically helps our community overall.
